NCASE Awards

Checklist for a complete Award nomination package: 

• Nomination form  

o Review the award criteria to determine which Award will be most appropriate for  nominating your candidate. 

o Check the appropriate box for type of nomination.

• Written Nomination Document: Describe why the candidate individual or organization  should be recognized, including relevant biographical or historical information about the  candidate and candidate’s accomplishments and impact. The primary evaluation factor will  be evidence of personal effort improving and promoting aviation and space education as well  as recognition by educational and industry peers of the candidate. See also the criteria on the  form. This document must not exceed three (3) pages. 

 • Two letters of endorsement are optional. The most useful letters come from prominent individuals or organizations having personal knowledge of the candidate and the candidate’s  qualifications for an award, based on the letter writer’s involvement in activities related to  aviation and space education or the work of the candidate in that field. 

• Method and format of submission: All pieces of the nomination package MUST be included in the Nomination Package Google Document. Letters of Endorsement MUST be uploaded as a pdf. NO other form of nomination will be accepted.

• Note: Incomplete nomination packets or packets received after the application deadline will NOT be considered. 

• NOTE: Nominations submitted may also be considered by the Selection Committee and deemed more appropriate for the other award.  Nominators will be notified should the committee determine this is appropriate.
